Educated in the venerated United Lubavitcher Yeshiva system, in Brooklyn NY and Israel, Rabbi Elchonon Tenenbaum participated in the Rabbinic Corps missions to developing Jewish communities in the US.
Directed and implemented the cross country Passover expo tour.
Served as a guidance counselor at the Mayanot Institute, Jerusalem.
In 2006 inspired by the teachings and mission of the Lubavitcher Rebbe to reach out to all Jews, Together with his wife Chana and young family, founded Chabad of Napa Valley to serve the local Jewish community.
2006 Established Kosher Napa Valley, Providing consulting and supervision to Napa Valley Hotels, Restaurants and Resorts.
2007 began producing Cuvee Chabad wines 2008-9 managed a vineyard in S. Helena. Subsequently partnering in 2011 with Covenant wines – a sought after Kosher winery, to commercially produce Cuvee Chabad.
Rabbi Tenebaum continues as a consultant for Kosher wine processing and production.
2008 was hired by Dr. Rabbi Bernard Lander OBM as campus Rabbi at Touro University California (TUC) charged with overseeing Jewish Life on campus.
