In 2006, when
Rabbi Elchonon Tenenbaum arrived in the Napa Valley from Crown Heights, Brooklyn, he discovered a sea of grapevines covering the valley floor and hillsides of this famous wine region. The question wasn't if—but how soon—he would get involved. With Hashems blessings he soon found himself immersed in winemaking and viticulture.
After several years toiling among the vines and learning from local Napa winemakers, Rabbi Elchonon is proud to release
Cuvée Chabad, a wine meant to honor Yiddishkeit and tradition, as well as the renowned organization that opens doors to a Jewish life for Jews throughout the world. To order follow this link www.cuveechabad.com
Cuvée Chabad 2011 Zinfandel is a fruity, full bodied, dry red wine made from grapes grown in a single vineyard in Lodi, where Zinfandel has been planted for more than 150 years. (The Lodi winegrowing region is a short drive to the east of Napa.) Working in tandem with Covenant Wines, the Rabbi has produced a wine that is plush, juicy and easy to drink. It is a high-quality expression of place, purpose and faith. As such, it will make a perfect companion for any special occasion.
